Xi Jinping Will Visit U.A.E. and African Countries before BRICS Summit in South Africa July 25-27

EIRNS—President Xi Jinping will visit the United Arab Emirates, Senegal, Rwanda and South Africa from July 19-24, before attending the Tenth BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, July 25-27, reported Xinhua.
He will then visit Mauritius in west Africa as a stopover on his return to China. This will be Xi’s first foreign visit since re-election as China’s President in March. In September, Beijing will host the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation summit, which China will co-chair with South Africa. [ap] |
