No Time for Complacency: The New Paradigm Must Be Consolidated

LPAC—Today we feature the keynote remarks by Helga Zepp-LaRouche to the "Food For Peace, Food For People, Food For Thought: The New Name For Peace is Economic Development" conference in New York City, cosponsored by the Schiller Institute, the China Energy Fund Committee, and the Foundation for the Revival for Classical Culture. The simultaneous occurrence of this conference and the G20 in Hamburg, Germany, at which Presidents Putin and Trump had their first face-to-face meeting, which reportedly lasted for over two and a half hours, pose a promising gateway for the consolidation of a new great powers relationship between the US-Russia-China as the basis for a new paradigm of peace and economic development. The positive relations between China and Germany with regards to the development of Africa also indicate a positive shift towards the New Silk Road. However, as Helga LaRouche warned emphatically, now is not the time for complacency—everything could fall into place, but everything could just as easily all fall apart. This is the moment of decision, and many things are certainly moving in a positive direction, but we need much bigger breakthroughs in every respect on the road towards the new paradigm
